Is jouw interieur toe aan een update?
Creëren, vormgeven en stylen zijn vaardigheden die ik al jong ontwikkelde. Als kind was ik dol op Playmobil. Niet vanwege de poppetjes en de avonturen die ze zouden kunnen beleven, nee ik was uren zoet met het huis. Dag in dag uit bouwde ik een nieuw interieur, inclusief gedekte tafels en opgemaakte bedjes. Schuiven, schuiven tot alle meubels stonden als ik het wilde.
Balans
Dat doe ik nog steeds, maar nu in het groot. In elk interieur ben ik op zoek naar de balans, want die balans zorgt ervoor dat een woning prettig aanvoelt, alsof het klopt. Ik voel feilloos aan wat er nodig is om dat gevoel te bereiken. Om een voorbeeld te geven: wil je in de voorkamer graag een donkere wand, zorg er dan altijd voor dat de achterkamer ook een ‘zwaar’ element heeft. Dat kan een donkere kast zijn, of juist donkere stoelen rond de eettafel. Zo houd je evenwicht in de ruimte.
Karakter
Naast de balans vind ik het belangrijk dat het interieur karakter heeft. Je wilt er tenslotte jouw eigen unieke sfeer vinden. Bovendien moet de ruimte niet alleen mooi zijn. Er zijn vaak ook praktische oplossingen nodig voor alledaagse woonproblemen. Als je een druk gezinsleven met twee kinderen hebt, is het natuurlijk belangrijk dat je inrichting hier bij past.
Praktisch ingesteld
Mijn kracht zit in de combinatie. Naast een scherp oog voor evenwicht en detail, ben ik praktisch ingesteld. Een gezin met jonge kinderen kan niet wonen in een huis dat alleen maar mooi mag zijn. Hier moet, op een stijlvolle manier, speelruimte zijn voor de kinderen. Ook is er dan behoefte aan opbergoplossingen, zodat speelgoed ’s avonds uit het zicht is. Woon je met z’n tweeën op een idyllische plek aan zee? Dan is er juist behoefte aan een heerlijke zitplaats om volop van het uitzicht te kunnen genieten. Zo heeft iedereen zijn eigen woonwensen en dát is nou net wat het maken van een interieurontwerp zo leuk maakt
Een paar aanpassingen voldoende
Misschien zit jij al jaren op dezelfde bank of kijk je al te lang tegen dezelfde spiegel of stoelen aan en ben je toe aan iets nieuws. Bij het zien van interieurprogramma’s waarin mensen met trots hun mooi aangeklede huis laten zien, voel je jaloezie. Blijf hier niet te lang in hangen en denk eens aan interieuradvies. Wanneer een expert met je meekijkt, ben je al een flink eind op weg naar je droominterieur. Van klassiek en modern tot minimalistisch en landelijk (of een mix): alles is mogelijk! In een uitgebreid overleg met jou pas ik je interieur aan naar jouw smaak. Soms zijn er maar een paar aanpassingen voor nodig om je huis een heel nieuwe uitstraling te geven.
Persoonlijk en sfeervol

Of je nou een villa hebt met overal mooie spullen, of juist een kleine woning met een minimalistische stijl: het meest belangrijke is dat jouw huis een plek is waar geleefd kan worden, en waar liefde, vreugde en geluk kunnen bestaan.
